Do you use my data to train AI models?
LLMBase does not train models on your chats.
Data-handling terms for inference depend on the selected model and available processing infrastructure.
Do you keep logs of my activity?
The LLMBase Inference API works with zero data retention: we do not store prompts or responses from API requests.
LLMBase Chat stores your chat history (conversations, titles, uploaded files and their extracted text) so you can continue your conversations. Beyond that, we only keep what is needed to run the service, such as account, billing, usage, and security data.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual chats at any time, which deletes their messages and files. Deleting your account deletes all of your chats.
Is my data secure?
LLMBase operates the application and API boundary in Europe under EU data protection standards.

Where are models processed?
It depends on the model. Open models listed as EU-hosted run in the EU; proprietary models are processed by their providers under their own terms. LLMBase shows this per model, so you always know where a model runs.

We're also a comparatively small European company without the economies of scale of the big players. In return, you get personal support from our team.
Many open models run on our servers in Europe. The label on each model shows which ones. We show the terms that apply to every model, and proprietary models you select are processed by their providers. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
